Children's Museum

The Stensvens came down to Chicago this weekend. We had so much fun! Saturday we went to the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. Here are a couple of pictures of Daddy trying to teach Michael Brenden to crawl (yes we know it's a little early!) and a couple other cute pictures from the day.

Pumpkin Farm

We went to the pumpkin farm in Chicago a couple of weeks ago. We bought a bunch of pumpkins and painted them to put outside of our condo. The pumpkin farm had all sorts of rides, a corn maze, a petting zoo and a lot more fun stuff for Michael Brenden to enjoy when he gets a little older.

3 Months

Michael Brenden will be 3 months old this week. The time has gone by so quickly! He is 13 lbs 7 oz and 25 1/4 inches. He sleeps about 6-7 hours straight at night. We're hoping that will be closer to 8-9 hours in the next month or so. We had his 3 month pictures taken yesterday. Here are a couple of our favorites!

Bath Time!!

Here are a couple of pictures from the past couple of baths he's taken. He finally decided that bath time isn't the worst time of the day! Thanks to his aunties in Chicago (and Ohio - Katie!) for all of the bath gear you guys gave him - he loves them!!!!

Baptism - August 16th, 2009

Michael Brenden was baptized on Sunday, August 16th 2009 by his Papa Peterson. He was baptized at our home church - St James Lutheran Church in Chicago. Michael's godparents are his Aunt Amy and Uncle Matt Seban. We had a great day of fun and fellowship with our family and friends!

Harsens Island, MI

Michael Brenden made his first trip to Harsens Island, Michigan. We were able to spend about a week there with his grandparents, great grandma and Aunt Christine. He rode the ferry for the first time, got to ride in Grandpa's boat, and saw all the big ships go by! We had a fun relaxing week!

HE'S HERE!

Michael Brenden Hilla arrived on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009 at 11:07pm. He was a big boy weighing 8 pounds 9 ounces. He was 22 inches long. We had a very long labor but are so excited that he is finally here! His grandparents and Aunt Amy were anxiously waiting at the hospital for his arrival. Here are a couple of pictures from the night he was born.
