Key Lime Cove

We met the Seban's at Key Lime Cove. Michael B loved playing in the water with his cousins! We also met the Kerber's at an apple festival and had some yummy apple ice cream!

Michael's Birthday

We were able to have an adults night out for Michael's birthday. It was so nice to see a bunch of our friends. We went out for an Italian dinner and then met our friends at a bar in Chicago. Here are a couple of pictures from the night!

Firetrucks

We had breakfast at the fire house on Harsen's Island. The boys had fun sitting in the fire trucks. Derrick had a lot of fun jet skiing past the ships!

Beach Day

We had two days of beautiful weather. We anchored the boat so the kids to walk back and forth between the boat and the shore. They had a lot of fun playing in the sand and on the jet skis!

Labor Day Weekend

This year we spent Labor Day weekend up at the cottage. The Kerbers, Baba and Sindu, and my nephew Derrick were all able to come along! Here are some pictures of the boys jumping off the bridge on our way out to the island.

Lake Beulah, WI

We spent a weekend this summer at Lake Beulah with the Geberts. They rented a house right on the lake. We had our jet skis there so we were able to spend a lot of time on the water. It was a very relaxing weekend!

Denver, CO

We spent our last day in Colorado in Denver. We started the morning on Larimer Street. We found a really great cafe for breakfast. We tried to go on a tour of the Mint but the tours were sold out for the day. We went on a tour of the state Capital. Then we went to my favorite place - Invesco Field at Mile High where the Denver Broncos play football! We were planning to take a tour but it was closed for American Idol try outs. I was so disappointed!!! After our visit to Denver, we drve to Omaha, NE where we spent the night. Saturday we drove the rest of the way back to Chicago. We had a great family vacation!!!
